STAY HOME
At the beginning of the pandemic, I started making these videos of constant home life and isolation. Little details of daily life, work, boredom, etc. After a while, my family got used to seeing my camera pointing at random spots around the house for hours at a time. I’ve gone through many emotions during this pandemic. Fear, sadness, loss, exhaustion, boredom, anxiety. The one that’s worn me down the most is the feeling of uncertainty. When will this end? How will life change after the pandemic? The election? What can I do? Just pure, relentless uncertainty. In this series, some holes are barred, others not. I’m not trying to change the world with this. They’re all just purely honest moments of home quarantine. It’s what isolation has made me look at, because seeing in our most familiar space, looking at ourselves, can sometimes be the most challenging.
